Art by the other other

David Roberts

Thirty years later, here we are.

I have been making digital art since the 90s. It only took about 20 years to realize that as a graphic designer, my art should perhaps be graphical and designy.

Dear reader, this is the type of astute insight only a spendy art school degree can provide.

Fast forward 10 years, and here we are. A portfolio of bits and bobs I don't mind showing people. That's the pinnacle right there.

Have a wander, or read about my process and colours if you're feeling brave.

I’ll leave the lights on.

Leftangles 1.1

The Leftangles collection was an exercise in creating a collection of pieces from a single shape and a limited colour palette.

Recapture 1.1

Recapture 1.1 masks my photography and then layers simple shapes on top to show both complex reality and conceptual thinking in one visual.
